# 3webs — 167-Signal AI Visibility Engine

## What this service does

3webs fetches a submitted domain's publicly served resources — HTML, robots.txt,
sitemap.xml, JSON-LD and declared machine-readable signal files — and evaluates
167 signals across five dimensions: AI Signals, AEO, GEO, AIO and SEO.

Scoring is deterministic. The same domain in the same state produces the same
result. A language model is used only to write the closing narrative summary.
Signals that cannot be verified from public sources are reported as not
applicable rather than assigned an invented value.

## The three webs

- **The human web** — what a person sees: HTML, headings, links, page speed, crawlability.
- **The AI web** — what an answer engine sees: schema, entity graph, answer-first structure, citability.
- **The machine web** — what an agent sees: agent cards, declared capabilities, callable endpoints, verifiable evidence.

## Observation modes for agents

- **One-shot** — a single observation of a domain, returned synchronously.
- **Permanent** — continuous observation; the domain is re-observed on a schedule
  and the caller is notified when a signal changes state.
